Tom has a background in web development, a degree in Computer Science, and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers on his way to a PhD in AI (thesis in progress!). He works on a variety of secret projects at Distilled, from developing novel forms of reporting to trying to predict which new technologies will be impact the search industry. His latest project, Distilled ODN, is an SEO split testing cloud service.
Having set up the popular Blogstorm SEO blog in 2007 Patrick joined forces with Vin Chinnaraja to setup the SEO arm of Branded3 in January 2008. In just over 5 years they grew the business to over £4m annual revenue and a sale to St Ives Plc for around £20m.

How To Reach Us
The New Dock Hall is next door to The Royal Armouries, a 10 minute stroll from Leeds Station and Trinity shopping centre. Walk along The Calls until you pass the big shiny silver ball, take a right over Centenary bridge, then follow the signs along the canal to The Royal Armouries.
The City Bus South Bank (service 70) runs directly from the Leeds Rail Station Bus Interchange (outside Leeds Railway Station) to Leeds Dock. The bus runs every 12-15 minutes Mon-Sun. The bus stops on Chadwick street, which runs directly alongside Leeds Dock. The fare is 50p
If you’re arriving in Leeds by train you can catch a water taxi from nearby Granary Wharf 7 days a week. Otherwise we’re a short walk along the canal or jump in a taxi at the station forecourt. You can also get the Service 70 bus from the Leeds rail Station Bus Interchange.
FREE water taxis run everyday Mon – Fri, 7am – 7pm and sat and Sun, 10am – 7pm. The boats ferry passengers between Granary Wharf & Leeds Dock. The trip takes 12 – 20 minutes along a scenic canal route and all journeys are FREE.
To catch a ride on one of these walk under the arches to Granary Wharf and the Doubletree by Hilton hotel. The taxis are on the lower water level, hidden out of view – just cross the lock bridge in front of Bar Brasil. The boats run every 20 minutes. Look out for a yellow flag with water taxi written on it in black.
